Wounded soldiers now have a new option for care once they return home. The U.S. Military Academy at West Point has opened a Warrior Transition Unit at the “Keller Army Community Hospital”:http://kach.amedd.army.mil/index01.htm.
The new center will help wounded soldiers who want to be in the Northeast while they recuperate.
The unit will serve soldiers wounded from deployments, seriously ill soldiers and soldiers requiring surgery.
