Putnam hosts more flu clinics

The Putnam County Health Department will offer free public flu clinics on Feb. 16 at the Carmel Fire Department, Rt. 52 and Vink Drive, and on Feb. 23 at the Garrison Fire Department, on Rt. 9. Vaccines will be available between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. to New York State residents ages 9 and older. Appointments are not necessary. Prescriptions are required for pregnant women. For more information or to schedule an appointment for children between the ages of 6 and 9 years old, call the county’s Immunization office at 845-278-6086.
