A new study in the “Journal of the American Medical Association”:http://jama.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/full/300/4/395 found that women who suffer sexual dysfunction as a side effect of anti-depressant medication were helped by taking a dose of Viagra.
The researchers found that 73 percent of women taking placebo, compared with 28 percent of women taking Viagra, reported no improvement with treatment. On a clinician-rated severity improvement scale, women in the Viagra group showed greater improvement in sexual function than women in the placebo group.
