Two local health centers get money for HIV/AIDS programs

Hudson River Health Care, a community health center in Peekskill, will received $100,000 and the Dominican Sisters Family Health Service, a home health agency based in Ossining, will receive $59,999 through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Ryan White HIV/AIDS program, Sen. Charles Shumer announced today.
The funds are intended to deliver medical care to uninsured and underinsured individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS.
