Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis.  Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with more than twice as many women as men contracting the disease.

Today MS affects over 400,000 Americans, including 34,000 families in New York.  New York State is one of nine states with the highest incidence of multiple sclerosis in the nation, according to data analyzed by the National MS Society,

I used to set up bowl-a-thons for the March of Dimes. Then they changed what types of organizations can participate. Not sure if they went back to the old rule. They want big corporations now.

I think all good causes should allow all people to set up such events. Is MS the same way ? do they expect only a big corp like McDonalds to set up the drive?

This is the heart of the matter here… in my mind.
